Summer Pasta

After a jaunt to the farmer's market last weekend, I ended up buying gluton free lemon rosemary pasta, completely by accident. Don't ask me how I missed the enormous sign that read "gluton free" but it ended up being a very pleasant surprise. The pasta was fresh and flavorful and cooked in 3 minutes. If you hadn't of told me I would have honestly never known. The sauce I made was simple and light and perfect for a hot summer evening; garlic, lemon (juice and zest), white wine, parmesan, truffle salt, tomato and onion, topped with fresh basil.

Diamond Rings and Murphy Beds

Yep, it's a random sort of day in my brain. I friend is moving to the hill and I'm flattered that he wants me to help with a little interior love, part of which involves a Murphy bed! Very cool. A few other good friends of our announced their engagement today, so naturally I have weddings on the brain. I'm also a little short on sleep and am feeling alike a bit of a loose cannon, so there you have it.

Gold Rush

I used to not be fond of gold, but lately I've been loving it, and eyeing it everywhere I go. These two particularly caught my eye. The ring I may have to just buy for myself.. we'll call it a late birthday present. And the dress? Let's just say I'm getting excited for New Years.

Mr and Mrs Globe Trot

There is a blog I've been following for quite some time now that is truly the essence of one of my life dreams. To travel for 6 months (at least) with my love, and take beautiful pictures along the way. This couple, is doing just that. They are both photographers, so naturally their pictures are amazing, and after getting hitched they hit the road for a trip around the world. Their most recent travels have brought them to Thailand, and looking at the images of Bangkok took me back and brought a flutter to my heart. As many know, I'm absolutely in love with that country, and I cannot wait to bring Will there and share my love. If you have a moment, or simply want a break from reality, I highly recommend you check out their blog, and slip into the travel-swoon I've been in for quite some time.

Slow Down!

Last I checked Summer started here about a month ago, so I do not appreciate the fact that I'm working on a ski ad for a client and I've gotten yet another "fall fashion" catalogue in the mail. Slow down people, I still got sun bathin' to do.

Maxi Dress

Ok, I finally got a long dress like this from H&M, but it's black and sort of somber looking, not really what I was going for. This gal makes me want to continue a hunt for a colorful one. Ho-hum, looks like I need to go shopping... again.
