Handmade Cards

A while back, when I had a LOT of time on my hands, I started making greeting cards with intention to sell them on Etsy. Of course I never got around to putting them in my Etsy store, which might I add, I haven't gotten around to putting anything into, but hey. I decided I would rather print them for friends and family if they would like them for free anyway! So, if you would like a pack, let me know! I would be happy to print you some!

A website every designer should know about!

I was doing my pre-spring cleaning on my computer when I realized I had about 50 bookmarked sites from when I was in school. Most of them were random pages about beer labels and nuclear energy, but the I stumbled along one which I honestly don't even remember looking at in the first place. It's called Blue Vertigo, and it is amazing! For all of those times you're thinking, damn if only I had a quick wood grain/floral/metal pattern to put in here, or, if only I could find that font... for FREE! and so on and so on, well here it is! The designer's mecca to free thing we use and love! Enjoy!

Alas, The End of The Holidays

It finally dawned on me yesterday that the holiday season has come to an end. A sigh of relief? Perhaps. It was a good holiday season though, different, but good. And now I find myself drowning in work (which is a good thing.. I suppose) and realizing I haven't taken a break to post a blog is god knows how long. Yes, my blog is stating to resemble my grade school diary in which every entry begins with "Wow, a lot has changed sense the last time I wrote in here". So here we are, a photo entry on what has changed...

My Uncle Jon taught me how to use my new camera
The Macdonalds and Porters united for a post-Christmas feast
And I do mean feast...
I tested out my mom's crab cake recipe (still amazing might I add)

Not bad, not bad at all.
