A PEEK INTO THE BEDROOM

I've been admittedly lazy about showing pictures of our new house, which though we put a good amount of work into when we first moved in, slowly started to taper off. The living room I feel pretty good about and will one day post pictures of that, but the bedroom has always made me a little crazy. It's tiny to start, and it's blue. Very blue. After painting part of our living room, I got lazy and decided the bedroom was fine as is, plus I couldn't convince Will that tearing everything out of our bedroom, sleeping on an air mattress, and painting all weekend sounded like fun. Fair enough.

But there's hope! I've had amazing second hand luck lately, and my bedside table and lamp prove this. The table I found at Value Village for $20, and after a little sanding and stain, it look good as new. The lamp I found at the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall, which is a rad little flea market we stumbled upon last weekend. If you haven't been there, please go, you won't be sorry. SO much good stuff, and all reasonably priced. That lamp was $24, I also got a set of 4 vintage bar glasses for $8 and she threw in a wood plate I was eyeballing.

Alright not the best pictures of the table, as you can't really see the legs, but you get the idea. I'm just excited that my bedside table is no longer a chair. And a drawer and a lamp?? We're growing up around here.
