It's been so long you would think I have abandoned this little blog of mine. With house projects, wedding planning, wedding (!!), and life in general, updating this guy has really fallen to the wayside. I did want to share however a shoot I just did I'm particularly proud of.

THE BACKYARD

Hello! It's been so long I've almost forgot about this little blog of mine. As of late my mind has been taken over by two big things, wedding planning (!!!) and the backyard overhaul. Both are going just fine, but as always I find myself jumping ahead of all the un-fun part (digging, planting, building, more digging) and into the decorating part. Did I mention Pinterest has taken over my life?

So here quickly are a few things I'm eyeballing for the backyard, specifically chairs and bird feeders, as random as that is.

Really though, an update on what the yard is actually looking like is coming, but I want to wait until we have something worth showing, and looks a bit less like a construction site, hopefully that will all happen soon.

GOLDEN YEAR

There are some pretty new things in Julia Kostreva's shop, including these sexy little gold foiled planners. I swear this woman can't make something I don't like, her work is stunning.

GEMMED

The art in my house is about 98% graphic, and I've been thinking lately it might be nice to bring in some photography, these prints are pretty rad, and right up my alley. I only wish we had approximately 2,000 more feet of wall space in our tiny abode.

A FEW THINGS

I love everything about this entry, but in particular that door, simple, modern, and unique.

If we end up going with a shower instead of a tub in the eventual bathroom remodel,  I really want to make a wood slat floor happen.

I'm determined to find a spot in our house for a hanging chair....

RUGGED

I'm realizing I have a thing for rugs. Which is sort of a bummer because we have like 3 rooms in our house (including the living room) so there is only so much rug action that can happen. West Elm currently is having a sale, and I'm finding myself searching the house for a rug opportunity I have yet to discover. Here are some favorites.

Also, hi I'm alive and haven't updated the 'ol blog in a GRIP. More to come when the weather turns to shit and I'm not outside enjoying it but inside in front of a computer.

Sometimes when procrastinating on a project I find myself designing other things, just for fun. No clients, no deadlines, just making something for the sake of making it. This is one of those things.

HAWAII

Will and I were recently in Hawaii for my cousin's beautiful wedding. Here are a few shots from the trip, including Will dancing with my Grandma, and my Grandpa showing off his moved on the dance floor. You're sexy and you know it Grandpa.
